BEST TEASER LEGS FOR NFL WEEK 3

Here are the teaser legs that hold some value this week. The ones I'm actually betting are at the end.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS +2 ---> +8

The Saints weren't inspiring in their 3-point win over the Panthers last week. Now they travel to Green Bay to take on another average team in the Packers. The Saints defense has been respectable this year and they should be able to keep the Packers offense from exploding. They also have a lot of weapons and really should be better on offense than what they've shown. The Packers' defense is solid, but New Orleans should be able to keep pace. I like this game to be won by a field goal either way.

TENNESSEE TITANS +3 ---> +9

This is a good matchup for the Titans, at least on one side of the ball. Deshaun Watson has been inaccurate throwing the ball this season, and that is where you can get to this Titans defense. The Browns need to be able to run the ball (even without Chubb) and so far no one has succeeded in that against this Titans front. On the other side of the ball, it's likely the Titans will struggle to score as well. The Browns front is formidable as well and they're good at getting after the passer. A defensive TD or two for the Browns is the main thing I see derailing this if something does.

MIAMI DOLPHINS -6.5 ---> -0.5

The Dolphins offense looks unstoppable with Tua pulling the trigger. The Broncos just gave up 35 points to Sam Howell and the Commanders. The Broncos' defense is better than what it showed last Sunday, but they aren't likely to fix the holes quickly enough to significantly slow the Dolphins' offense. On the other side of the ball, the Dolphins have been very good on defense as well with Vic Fangio as their coordinator. The Broncos' offense is okay, but they just won't be able to keep up.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS -6 ---> PK

After another dismal offensive performance at home against New Orleans, rookie Bryce Young takes his rag-tag group of backs and receivers on the road to one of the most difficult places to play in the NFL. The Seahawks had a nice bounce back against the Lions, even if it was turnover-aided. What this comes down to for me is Bryce Young playing on the road. He's already struggling and playing in this kind of environment isn't going to help.

DALLAS COWBOYS -12 ---> -6

I wouldn't usually use a teaser leg just to get a game to -6, but this is no ordinary game. The Cowboys defense is a force and the Cardinals have no hope of contending with it. The question mark for the Cowboys is their offense, but this Cardinals defense just gave up a historic second half to Danny Dimes. I don't think Dak and company will struggle too much. I already bet the -12, so -6 seems even better.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS +2.5 ---> +8.5

Matt Canada should not be a play-caller in the NFL. The Steelers offense should be better, but they get a break this week going up against a very lackluster Raiders defense. Aside from Maxx Crosby, there just isn't much here. The Raiders offense is dangerous with Jacobs, Adams, and Meyers, but Pittsburgh's defense is good enough to keep them from absolutely lighting it up. I do think this game will be close, that's why 8.5 points is something that interests me.

BETS I'VE MADE

  • DAL -6 & MIA -0.5 (-120) 1.2 Units

  • DAL -6 & SEA -0.5 (-120) 1.2 Units

  • SEA -0.5 & PIT +8.5 (-115) 1.15 Units
